Illustrating a field guide

From 2012 until 2016, I worked with marine biologists and Cabrillo Marine Aquarium to illustrate over 300 species of fish native to California, for the new edition of the widely used book Guide to the Coastal Marine Fishes of California. With images provided by Milton Love, a fish biologist at UC Santa Barbara, as well as images from other biologists and institutions, I created an accurate rendering of each species.
